Féérie
The Féerie series was created a few years ago out of a desire to explore animal pairs.
Drawing inspiration from famous duos or predator-prey relationships, I offer a fresh perspective on them.
Here, tension is gently caressed; conflict gives way to a secret, almost conspiratorial alliance, where tenderness envelops instincts in a golden light. Everything is nothing but suspended poetry, a delicate balance where gentleness blends with grace. The Two people, facing each other, stand still. The world around them fades away. All that remains is them, united in this moment stolen from eternity. A magical scene where strength and fragility finally come together.
Bunny & Fox
To kick off this series, I’ve brought together two iconic figures: the fox and the rabbit.
The fox is the strategist, the mind that survives through cunning rather than force. He embodies patient intelligence—the kind that observes, calculates, and acts at just the right moment.
The bunny, for its part, embodies swift agility and vulnerability that transforms into resilience. An elusive prey, it symbolises both fear and the ability to be reborn, to always bounce back.
Their dynamic is a cycle in which the fox’s cunning is constantly put to the test by the hare’s agility. Yet this tension creates a balance : without one, the other disappears. Their relationship, that of predator and prey, is transformed here into a delicate, almost conspiratorial alliance, where tenderness transcends instinct. Time seems to stand still: the fox, motionless, watches without attacking; the rabbit, trusting, stays put without fleeing. Together, they create a moment of grace. A moment when nature itself holds its breath. The whole scene is imbued with poetry and gentleness.

Croc & Fly
The crocodile symbolises patience and strength deaf to the depths. It represents the shadow of the marshes, the unchanging presence that spans the centuries.
The butterfly, for its part, symbolises lightness and transience. Fragile and elusive, it lasts but a few days, like a moment that slips away before it can even be grasped.
Together, they form an unlikely alliance. One is heavy, the other light; one is eternal, the other fleeting. Yet this encounter creates an unexpected harmony. A dance between opposites, in which each reveals the beauty of the other. Like yin and yang, they embody the union of opposites to create something new. A world where logic is overturned by poetry.
